==Lore== Most of The Chaos Planes couldn't care less that a few of their numerous inhabitants escaped into The Twilight. The gnarled woods however did care. Watcher was their food source and a powerful one at that, plus they didn't like losing. Their first attempts to recapture Watcher failed because he slipped through the crack in the tree. They tried to follow him but anytime they approached electric lightning erupted from it, pushing them back. The forest seethed with anger. Their only course of action was to find something that the crack didn't reject. This meant they needed another Shadow, but it was impossible to know when another one would just happen upon the forest, so they decided to grow one for themselves. It took some time (evidently 1 year) to focus the energy of the woods into a single spot on the forest floor. At the root of the tree split by the crack they began to grow a Shadow At first there was just a bushel of green leaves, something the rest of the leafless forest found unsettling. A big yellow flower unfolded one day from one of the many vines and as time went on the flower withered leaving a tiny orange pumpkin in its place. The pumpkin grew and grew until it was the size of a head. It was finally time. The gnarled woods focused their anger and vengeance, pouring it into the plant. Vines began to coil together forming arms and legs and pieces of the pumpkin shot out leaving behind two ghastly eyes and a jagged smile. The trees gave him his name and purpose, "Hallow will bring us back Watcher." A raspy voice responded, "I will not fail." With that, he bounded through the crack. No lightning sparked as he entered. The woods knew it wouldn't be long. Emerging from the other side, Hallow entered what appeared to be a cemetery. Headstones were scattered across the grounds and mausoleums stood motionless on either side, but the thing that caught his attention were all the pumpkins. At first he thought, they were relatives but when none responded he nudged it and watched in horror as it rolled down the hill. They had all been decapitated. Whatever did this had to suffer. Capturing Watcher could wait, ending the ruthless murder of defenseless pumpkins could not.
