==Lore== Rivers of flowing lava streaked across the volcanic wasteland of The 8th Plane. The crust of which had been broken and cracked by schisms of molten fire bursting through. The sky was riddled with ash and blackened by the smoke rising from the surface. The smell of melting iron and burning flesh filled the air. Tiny cages hung from endless chains nearby. Krampus was not so lucky as to be in an iron cage; His size required a more creative solution. Large chains clasped around his wrists, waist, neck and even horns extended out from the ground. Deep below him a series of gears and winches ticked ever so often. With each click of the gear the chains were drawn further into the ground bringing Krampus with them. He had originally been standing on a large metal platform, but most of that had since been burned away by the magma. Now just a thin layer stood between him and his untimely cremation. It was all unfair and ironic in Krampus's mind. He had spent his whole life judging the worlds righteousness and yet here he was bound to this plane being drawn into the flames as though he had done something wrong. So what if he didn't do things "their" way? People feared him, they obeyed him. Another click rang out below him and the chains tugged. That was the last link needed to consume the whole metal slab. Krampus could feel the edges of his hooves heating up and beginning to burn. He let out a pained howl blaming the universe for punishing him. Just as the bellow escaped his lips, the ground around him began to shake violently and he felt his restraints loosen ever so slightly. Thinking his expression of anger had caused the quake, Krampus let out another roar. This time filled with anger and hostility. As he did he pulled on the chains with every ounce of strength he had left. The tension was too much for the links to handle; they bent and broke under the immense pressure. Krampus stumbled forward at the sudden release, nearly falling into the molten magma surrounding him. He knew he couldn't stay here, the lava could still consume him. Searching frantically he spotted a bright ray of light casting up from the ground in the distance. Krampus charged for the light. He was moving too fast to stop and investigate the source before plunging through the crack and into The Twilight. Instantly he felt a chill run up his spine. The cold harsh air burned at his cheeks. His blistered hooves dug into the cold snow beneath him. "Ah! This is more like it." It wasn't until Krampus first came across a Light Bear, that he realized he must have been saved from the lava and brought here to capture all the naughty little bears.
